SAN FRANCISCO, CA (FEBRUARY 2022) – Polaris Real Estate Partners is expanding its senior leadership team with the appointment of three executives. These new team members have a combined experience of 79 years and have focused on commercial real estate firms and transactions for their entire careers.

Brian Genden, our Director of Asset Management, has been managing commercial assets for 17 years, with a particular focus on leadership positions in asset and portfolio management of multifamily properties throughout the United States. Brian is leading our firm’s efforts to increase operational efficiencies and top-line revenues as well as manage unit-level and property upgrades.

Lisa Mendez-Finger, our Controller, has managed corporate-level financial matters for real estate development and investment teams for 31 years, including development and oversight of accounting controls as well as investor and lender management. Lisa will implement systems and procedures for more efficient execution of the company’s financial strategies as well as investor, property and corporate tax matters.

James Hetherington, our Legal Counsel, has 31 years of experience as a trial attorney, including 14 years as a partner with a San Francisco litigation firm. He has focused on real estate and insurance matters throughout his career. His emphasis with Polaris will be on risk assessment, management and resolution of claims at the asset level, insurance claim management and oversight of the firm’s contract negotiations.
