DALLAS, TX (November 2024) – Polaris Real Estate Partners (PREP), a principal investor and manager of multifamily properties across the Midwest and Central United States, partnered with Charters of America to offer complimentary bus transportation for residents in Dallas on Election Day.
On Election Day, PREP provided scheduled shuttle services from each of its Dallas properties to nearby polling stations between 7:00a.m. and 7:00p.m. Each shuttle waited at polling locations for approximately 20-25 minutes, giving residents ample time to cast their votes before returning to their properties. Property managers proactively distributed flyers and notified all residents about this service to ensure widespread awareness and participation.
“This marks the third time we’ve offered this shuttle service to support our residents on Election Day, and we’re proud to make voting easier for our communities,” said Ron Abta, General Partner at Polaris Real Estate Partners. “By offering free rides on Election Day, Polaris is doing its part to encourage voter turnout and make it easier for people to travel to and from local polling places. We believe that voting is a fundamental right, and we want to eliminate any barriers our residents may face in getting to the polls.”
“Providing reliable transportation for our residents aligns with our mission to build and support thriving communities,” added Travis Pacoe, General Partners.
This initiative reflects Polaris Real Estate Partners’ commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. The company views this as an essential service, especially in times when accessibility can influence voter turnout.
