DALLAS, TX (DECEMBER 2020) – During Thanksgiving this year, all of Polaris’ properties held Thanksgiving food giveaways to our residents to help the community cope with the immense difficulties and challenges during the pandemic.
Thanks to the great efforts from our onsite managers, the event was a huge success. Residents were informed about the giveaway and were encouraged to register in advance. On Thanksgiving Day, onsite managers bought turkeys from local grocery stores and held a live raffle on Facebook. After an hour, all of the announced winners came to pick up their Thanksgiving turkey prizes. Residents who did not win a turkey were given pies and gift cards. Riviera and Forest Hills apartment managers also distributed 50 grocery sacks of non-perishable food items in a separate drive through giveaway.
We were excited to give back to our residents especially during this difficult Holiday season. This was our chance to express our appreciation to our wonderful residents who have been amazing throughout this difficult year. We are thankful to be a part of this community.
