DALLAS, TX (FEBRUARY 2019) — Indigo is one of the smaller communities in the DFW Metroplex owned by Polaris. However, the heart of this community is larger than you can imagine.

On a sunny Thursday afternoon, more than 40 residents came to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the company of their neighbors and the community’s staff. The celebration of Valentine’s Day also marked the one year anniversary of Polaris acquiring the community and changing its name from Quail Hollow to Indigo.

It was warming to see how well community got together and helped our staff members with setting up the event. One of our vendors donated a bounce house for the young kids to enjoy. Our staffs prepared a variety of healthy delicacies, while one resident provided a cake to celebrate her 4-year-old’s birthday together with the community. The cake disappeared in less than 10 minutes!

Many residents enjoyed having conversations with their neighbors and shared their different stories. When asked about the number of years they have been living on the property, some of the residents shared that they have been living in this community for more than 10 years and witnessed many changes that have taken place. Some of more recent residents have been here for only less than a year but were quickly welcomed by the community.

When you imagine what community is all about, it seems like Indigo is good example. Residents young and old have pride in their community, and they try to include everyone in their circle.

“The opportunity to see the community take charge and support its managers and neighbors always brings me joy. This is one of our main goals- to create a family within each of our communities,” noted Anya Volchkov, Polaris Community Coordinator.
